Daniel Ekle visited Onno Sparenborg in the far north for further training in instrument making. An exciting week lies behind the two of them. Onno is a passionate musician (tuba player). He completed his apprenticeship as a metal wind instrument maker in 2013 and was the state winner in NRW in metal wind instrument making. He then became a master craftsman in 2016.
Onno Sparenborg now runs his own specialist store, including MTP instruments, the BrassWerkstatt https://www.brasswerkstatt-norden.de/, he repairs brass instruments and diligently builds his own very high-quality concert trumpets.
This year we will realize a few smaller projects together, be curious - we will completely rework and improve 2 of our instruments.
