At our stand at this year's Musikmesse 2014 in Frankfurt Norbert Cermak presented the new Junior Alto Saxophone by MTP.

Norbert Cermak - Mr.SAXXY- studied saxophone and clarinet at the "Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler" (Berlin).
Since 1984 he has worked and lived in Hamburg as a lecturer and teacher. Has played with the orchestra Frank Valdor and the orchestra of James Last.
Has managed the Big Band Berne near Hamburg for 25 years.

Norbert Cermak invented useful accessories for musical instruments such as the well-known saxophone stand "SAXXY", which is successfully built and sold under license by König & Meyer (K&M).
In 2005, Norbert Cermak was granted utility model protection for the alto saxophone bow suitable for children, which makes it easier for children aged 7-8 to play the saxophone.

The result of many years of collaboration is the development of the MTP Alto Saxophone Mod. JUNIOR II with adjustable side flaps and two S-bows. In a child-friendly design with the ergonomically shaped S-bow and a standard S-bow, so that the saxophone can "grow with the child". The Junior Saxophone is not a "child's saxophone", but an absolutely complete instrument with first-class intonation and a great sound.
